FAITH FORMATION
WHAT'S HAPPENING
Below are some of the events that are going on in faith formation.
CATHOLIC HEART WORK CAMP
14 teens (9th- 12th grade) along with two adult chaperones traveled to Oil City. Upon arrival room assignments were given and the teens made camp. Sunday evening they attended Mass with the 200 other teens that traveled to CHWC, some from as far away as North Carolina. The program began and all were given "Team Assignments" and it was an evening of Ice Breakers to get to know our "TEAM". We began each day with Mass and then Monday thru Thursday it's off to our work site at 9:00 to help the "RESIDENTS" who are unable to do the necessary work to keep their homes livable and safe. Back to base to shower and prepare for evening program: Adoration; Confessions; Four Corners; Dance Party; Games; and Awesome Music. Thursday night the Residents are invited to come and let us know how we did. (All seem to be very pleased and appreciative of our efforts). A closing Mass on Friday morning and off to a free day (maybe a water park) and then home.
